JavaScript Job: Full Stack Engineer

SmartAction exists to advance the AI movement, bridging the gap between what is, and what can be. We are a fully remote company of ~50 people that provides AI-powered virtual agents as a service to more than 100 leading brands across 12 industries. We are headquartered in Dallas/Fort-Worth, TX. Our company is continuing to grow its proprietary products and feature sets while leveraging best-of-breed technologies to deliver efficient, scalable solutions to our clients and their end customers. Job Requirements:

You will work within an agile team to build out a set of microservices for a cloud-based solution. The application will be ASP.NET Core (using .NET 6), with a React front end.

Responsibilities:

• Write a lot of C# and React
• Write unit tests for the C# components
• Assist with defining acceptance criteria for stories during backlog grooming sessions
• Involve QA to determine where and how automation can test the completed story
• Review PRs assigned to you and provide feedback
• Building RESTful web services in C#
• Creating or maintaining web front ends, either with HTML/CSS/JS directly or a JavaScript framework (TypeScript a plus)
• Directly interacting with and maintaining a data store such as SQL or Mongo. If SQL, EF Core is a plus
• Creating Docker images and deploying them
• Using cloud tools (Azure Functions)
• Working in an Agile environment
• Building and creating scalable solutions

The ideal candidate has:

Required

• Building RESTful web services in C#
• Experience in .Net 5 or a later version
• Experience in React
• Experience in using cloud tools (Azure preferred)
• Creating or maintaining web front ends, either with HTML/CSS/JS directly or a JavaScript framework (TypeScript a plus)
• Directly interacting with and maintaining a data store such as SQL or Mongo. If SQL, EF Core is a plus

Ideal

• Creating Docker images and deploying them
• Working in an Agile environment
